Cyanoacrylate Adhesives - DELO-CA
DELO-CA instant curing Cyanoacrylate adhesives are one part, solvent free cyanoacrylates, for general bonding applications. They are more generally known as super glue "superglue" or instant cured adhesives.
Cyanoacrylates cure with the presence of moisture (RH 30-70%), the greater the moisture, the quicker the cure. The cyanoacrylate adhesives are ideal for use with nearly all materials, especially plastics and elastomers. They provide high tensile & shear strengths, with initial strength in seconds.
Curing of cyanoacrylate adhesives occurs from exposed surfaces inwards, so products should be exposed to air until fully cured. Bond strength will reduce with temperature, working temperature range is -30 to +100. Alkaline surfaces result in a stronger join, activators are available, which are OH-, use of these activators will change the surface conditions and increase final strength or make joining possible.
