UV & Light Cured Acrylic Adhesive: DELO-PHOTOBOND
DELO-PHOTOBOND UV curing & light cured acrylic adhesives, are a one part solvent free based adhesive, that cure with visible light (400-550nm) or UV (ultra-violet) light (320-400nm). Applications for Photobond acrylic adhesive include bonding, sealing and coating with plastic, glass and metals.
The acrylate materials are stress equalising and highly flexible, with up to 300% elongation at tear. Photobond UV adhesives are ideal for glass bonding and sealing applications as it is optically clear once cured. They are also suitable for electronic applications requiring fast processing, or for applications that require a flexible bond, for example bonding of loudspeakers.
Curing through translucent plastics and deep layers is also possible with Photobond, since visible light is not filtered like UVA. Full cure is achieved in seconds. Viscosities range from from 100 to 30,000mPa.s. Some materials have USP VI approval, for use on medical devices.
