DELO Photobond UV Adhesive is cured using ultraviolet (320-400nm) and / or visible light (400-550nm). They are stress equalising and highly flexible adhesives, with up to 500% elongation at tear and are ideal for glass bonding or sealing applications, as they are fast curing and optically clear once cured (product dependant).
Other typical applications include bonding, sealing and coating of plastics and metals. Examples of applications that have been solved by DELO PHOTOBOND UV adhesives can be found below.
Curing the adhesive through translucent plastics that normally filter UV light, in addition to deep layers is also possible with DELO PHOTOBOND, since visible light can also be used to cure them. This has a longer wavelength and therefore penetrates deeper into the adhesive layer. Full cure is achieved in seconds. Viscosities range from 100 to 210,000 mPa.s. Some materials have USP Class VI approval, for use on medical devices.
