Inseto has a long history of supplying wafers for semiconductor, micro and nanotechnology applications, as well as for products that require very flat and exceptionally smooth hydrophobic surfaces.

Our high-quality wafers are used worldwide by universities, research facilities, semiconductor and original equipment manufacturers. They are available in small to large lot sizes with full traceability and certificates of conformance, ensuring traceable, consistent delivery and quality.

In addition to silicon, we supply and stock an extensive range of glass and fused silica wafers, silicon on sapphire, silicon on insulator and sapphire wafers, plus germanium, silicon carbide and other compound wafer materials.

Our silicon wafers can also be processed using either atmospheric thermal oxide, dry oxide (for thinner layers), or PECVD oxide (when single sided coatings are required), or for nitride coatings using either PECVD, LPCVD or low stress LPCVD.

We are also able to offer a wide range of additional fabrication steps to facilitate onward processing, including thinning, plating, application of polymer layers, bumping with solder or copper pillars and dicing to virtually any die size.
